Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and implementing efficient transportation models, monitoring and analyzing distribution metrics, and implementing effective logistics strategies.

  • The Logistics Manager will oversee the national transportation of frozen and chilled goods, identifying and implementing cost-saving opportunities in cold chain logistics.
  • Responsibilities also include ensuring temperature control and regulatory compliance, driving efficiency parameters for trailer transportation from factories to ports, and monitoring and improving transportation efficiency across the network.
  • The successful candidate will develop strategies to enhance freight and transportation efficiency, build processes for primary and secondary transportation for domestic movements, and develop standard operating procedures for transportation activities.
  • In addition, the Logistics Manager will monitor vehicle performance and optimize utilization, as well as manage transportation-related bills and payments, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.

Key Responsibilities:

The Logistics Manager will be responsible for the following key areas:

  • National Transportation: Overseeing the transportation of frozen and chilled goods across the country.
  • Cold Chain Logistics: Identifying and implementing cost-saving opportunities in cold chain logistics.
  • Temperature Control: Ensuring temperature control and regulatory compliance throughout the transportation process.
  • Trailer Transportation: Driving efficiency parameters for trailer transportation from factories to ports.
  • Transportation Efficiency: Monitoring and improving transportation efficiency across the network.
