Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at Zipaworld. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our customer base in the freight forwarding industry.
About You
You should have a strong background in sales and business development, with experience in logistics and freight forwarding. Your excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with clients will enable you to achieve your targets and drive business growth.
Your Key Responsibilities
- To identify and pursue new business opportunities and expand our customer base in the freight forwarding industry.
- To develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed monthly and quarterly targets.
- To manage debtors and maintain a healthy cash flow.
- To acquire new customers in line with company policy.
- To build and maintain a strong brand presence through market intelligence and innovative thinking.
- To develop and implement marketing strategies to increase brand awareness.
- To foster strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
- To ensure compliance with quality, health, safety, and environmental measures.
- To possess a pleasing personality, good communication and presentation skills.
- To be analytically sound, self-motivated, and positive-minded.
- To be a self-starter, team player, and go-getter with a can-do attitude.
