Animal Emergency Support Professional

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to join our emergency response team in Ballari, India.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly and effectively to emergency and general cruelty-case calls and messages.
  • Collaborate with local animal-protection organisations, volunteers, and government bodies to facilitate emergency rescues across the country.
  • Maintain an updated database of contacts and services available to our emergency response team.
  • Ensure thorough records are kept for all emergency and cruelty cases, including details on how they were handled and concluded.
  • Participate in professional development training on animal handling, restraining, first aid, and other relevant skills.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from a recognized institution.
  • Previous experience in emergency response or animal care is an asset.
  • Proficiency in computer applications.
  • Fluency in Hindi and English languages.
  • Knowledge of other Indian languages is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with ability to multitask.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work patiently with various stakeholders, including animal-protection organisations and volunteers.
  • Passionate about ending animal cruelty and providing support to those in need.
  • Compassionate, responsible, and self-driven individual with excellent communication skills.
  • Adherence to a vegan lifestyle.
  • Ability to travel independently as needed to handle emergency cases.
