About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Global Sales Director to lead our sales efforts and drive business growth.

Responsibilities
  • Market Development & Customer Relationships
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients to identify new business opportunities and expand partnerships.
    • Conduct regular client feedback sessions to enhance service levels and customer satisfaction, ensuring after-sales support meets expectations.
    • Improve customer loyalty through effective relationship management.
  • Sales Operations & Execution
    • Oversee end-to-end sales processes, including contract negotiations, deal closures, and sales pipeline management, to ensure seamless customer service and delivery.
    • Coordinate between sales, marketing, supply chain, and operations teams for effective execution.
    • Analyze sales performance metrics, provide insights, and recommend process improvements.
  • Product Knowledge & Brand Positioning
    • Maintain a deep understanding of product offerings, features, and competitive advantages to inform market development strategies.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to create product awareness and brand positioning initiatives tailored to different regions.
    • Promote the company's products and services at industry events, seminars, and conferences to enhance brand visibility.
    • Propose strategies for introducing new products.
  • Competitor Activity
    • Identify sources of competitive supply in various operating zones/states and communicate quality, pricing, and resource information.
    • Monitor competitor activity, price levels, and communicate necessary actions.
    • Benchmark pricing, quality, market share, and services to optimize performance.
  • Financial & Budget Management
    • Manage the sales budget, optimize spending, and ensure high return on investment.
    • Track sales revenue, profitability, and cost-to-serve metrics to maximize financial performance.
    • Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to the executive team.
