The goal of this role is to provide expert technical support and services globally.

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled IT professional to join our team as a Service Desk Engineer. In this position, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day technical support to end-users at a global level.

As a member of our Global ServiceDesk team, you will work closely together with local Site Support teams along with global technology, support, and service teams like SAP application, Infrastructure, and Cybersecurity teams.

Responsibilities
  • Provide in-depth knowledge and experience on Compute, Network, and MS Teams.
  • Work independently to solve complex issues and work under pressure and tight timelines.
  • Provide technical support to end-users at a global level using Jira ticketing system for user-reported issues.
  • Create and maintain reports of progress to management whenever needed.
  • Coordinate with vendors for service-related issues and follow through with vendors for Preventive Maintenance activities, quotes, and internal teams for IT support requirements.
  • Perform routine checks on IT Hardware Inventory, network printers functioning during business hours, domain account setup and outlook profile configuration for new and existing users.
  • Setup and maintain desktops, laptops, and printer environment according to IT standards.
  • Perform regular checks on critical services status for advanced diagnosis on hardware, peripherals, and applications.
Requirements

5-8 years of related work experience.

Degree in Computer Application Science.

Skills
  • Windows, Linux, and MAC OS administration.
  • Microsoft Office 365, Teams, Active Directory, and Server Administration.
  • DNS, DHCP, CISCO AMP, Antivirus, Network printer, VMware, Hyper-V, and ZPA, Zscaler private access desirable.
