Senior Hotel Events Coordinator

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Hotel Events Coordinator to join our team at Hyatt Regency Chennai.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for maximizing events sales of the hotel, working efficiently in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, and meeting employee, guest and owner expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- To manage the efficient running of the department, ensuring seamless execution of events.
- To develop and implement effective strategies to maximize events sales.
- To work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and provide exceptional service.
- To maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive communication and issue resolution.
Requirements
We are looking for an individual with a relevant degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism management and a minimum of 2 years' experience as an Events Coordinator in hotel operations.
A strong problem-solving, administrative, and interpersonal skills are essential for this role. The ideal candidate will also possess excellent communication and negotiation skills.
