Job Title: Workplace Standard Auditor and Trainer

About the Role

The Responsible Mica Initiative is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Workplace Standard Auditor and Trainer. This role will support the growth of RMI's activities in India and strengthen our support to upstream supply chain actors in Rajasthan and Andhra Pradesh.

The successful candidate will have strong social and environmental auditing expertise, exceptional coordination and monitoring skills, and excellent interpersonal skills. They will be based in Bhilwara, Rajasthan, and will work closely with RMI's governance bodies, Executive team, members, and partners.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish gap assessments of mica processors and mines versus RMI's Global Workplace Standard;
  • Support processors and mine owners in implementing corrective action plans;
  • Coordinate collective third-party audit protocol for RMI members;
  • Develop training content for auditors on RMI standards;
  • Conduct online or face-to-face training sessions;
  • Perform quality checks on audit reports;
  • Analyze audit data and build presentations;
  • Share law updates with the team;
Requirements
  • A Master's degree in International Development, Business, Engineer/Mining or Social Auditing;
  • Demonstrated experience in supply chain social and environmental auditing, sustainability standards, and mining standards;
  • Strong analytical capabilities and ability to quickly understand complex topics;
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills;
  • Fluency in English and Hindi;
  • High level of integrity and ethical standards;
  • Tenacious problem solver with excellent teamwork abilities;
  • Ability to work proactively and independently;

Preferred Qualifications: 5-10 years of experience working on related missions, demonstrated experience of multi-stakeholder projects' coordination and monitoring, facilitating training sessions, and working in Rajasthan or with Rajasthan stakeholders.
