Key Compliance Officer

A seasoned professional with a strong background in regulatory affairs and corporate governance is sought to oversee our compliance function. This critical role involves ensuring adherence to statutory standards, providing expert advice to the board and management, and facilitating strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements, including the Companies Act and relevant industry regulations.
  • Corporate Governance & Board Support: Advise the board on matters of corporate governance, facilitating effective board and committee meetings, and ensuring accurate minute-taking and timely follow-up on action items.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate potential compliance risks across the organization.
  • Statutory Filings: Oversee preparation and timely filing of regulatory documents and returns with authorities such as the Registrar of Companies (ROC) and Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA).
Required Qualifications & Skills:
  • Professional Qualifications: A mandatory qualified Company Secretary (CS). A Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is a strong advantage.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior compliance, corporate secretarial, or governance role. Must have experience working in a listed company and handling M&A compliance.
  • Legal & Financial Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of Indian corporate laws, financial regulations, accounting standards, and taxation.
