Job Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated and results-driven Retail Training Specialist to join our team. As a Retail Training Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-impact classroom and on-the-job training sessions to equip new hires with the skills necessary to excel in their roles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct engaging classroom training sessions for new hire employees.
- Ensure seamless execution of the Class Room Training (CRT) program and On-The-Job Training (OJT), monitoring learner progress.
- Utilize interactive training techniques such as role-plays, case studies, and scenario-based learning to enhance knowledge retention and application.
- Oversee the training journey from onboarding to completion, ensuring proper handholding of new hires.
- Track and analyze the performance of new hires, identifying areas of improvement and developing targeted learning interventions.
- Monitor throughput performance during NHT and ensure new hires meet expected sales and service benchmarks.
- Conduct store visits to assess real-time learning applications and provide in-store coaching to reinforce key concepts.
- Maintain accurate training databases, attendance records, trainer productivity, and performance dashboards to inform strategic decision-making.
- Identify trends in employee performance and recommend data-driven solutions to improve overall training effectiveness.
- Develop comprehensive training impact reports, highlighting improvements in employee productivity and customer experience.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align training initiatives with business goals, driving a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 3+ Years of experience in Retail Training, with a proven track record of success.
- Strong facilitation and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Experience in CRT implementation and store-level coaching, with a deep understanding of retail operations.
- Proficiency in data analysis and performance tracking, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel for reporting and analytics, with a strong understanding of data visualization techniques.
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
- Knowledge of retail operations, customer service, and sales training, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Ability to multitask and manage training programs across multiple locations, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
