Job Summary:

The Retail Training Specialist plays a pivotal role in delivering impactful training sessions to equip new hires with the skills needed to excel in their roles. This position ensures the end-to-end execution of Classroom Training (CT) and On-The-Job Training (OJT), monitoring learner progress, and coaching underperforming employees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct engaging classroom training sessions for new hires, focusing on interactive techniques like role-plays, case studies, and scenario-based learning.
  • Oversee the entire training journey from onboarding to completion, ensuring proper handholding of new hires.
  • Track and analyze the performance of new hires, monitoring throughput performance during New Hire Training (NHT).
  • Conduct store visits to assess real-time learning applications and provide in-store coaching.
  • Maintain accurate training databases, attendance records, trainer productivity, and performance dashboards.
  • Identify trends in employee performance and recommend targeted learning interventions.
  • Develop comprehensive training impact reports highlighting improvements in employee productivity and customer experience.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align training initiatives with business goals.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • 3+ Years of experience in Retail Training.
  • Strong facilitation and communication skills.
  • Experience in CT implementation and store-level coaching.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and performance tracking.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel for reporting and analytics.
  • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of retail operations, customer service, and sales training.
  • Ability to multitask and manage training programs across multiple locations.
