Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Solar Sales Specialist to join our team at Power and Sun Solar Equipments Trading L.L.C. in Ahmedabad, Gujrat. This is an excellent opportunity for a sales professional to drive sales growth and expand our market presence in the solar energy sector.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for generating sales for solar inverters and solar panels, building relationships with potential customers and suppliers, and reporting on market trends and product development. The role requires strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a remote team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for Generating Sales for Solar Inverter & Solar Panels
  • Experience in sales within the solar industry
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • In-depth knowledge of the solar energy market, products, and industry regulations
  • Assist, develop and maintain relationships with potential customers/suppliers through personal networking/web searches/traveling/ participating in tradeshows & calls, reach out to potential customers/suppliers and explore any new business opportunities
  • Report and update on market trends & product development to management as required
  • Support for updating of forecasts and order processing
  • Updating weekly & monthly reports
  • Responsible for monitoring sales support activities like submission of invoices/proposals / payment collection
  • Retention & increase of market share for assigned product category in each account
Requirements
  • Graduates with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in Solar Panel Sales from Distribution Company or Manufacturer
  • Engineering background will be an add on
  • Ability to collaborate with team members on a remote basis effectively
  • Positive thinker, self-disciplined, independent problem-solving skills
  • Candidate should possess the right attitude and should be a quick learner
  • Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite

The estimated salary for this position is ₹2,000,000 - ₹3,000,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
