About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Solar Sales Engineer to join our team in driving business growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation and Prospecting
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through field visits, cold calling, and referrals.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential clients by conducting thorough market research.
- Client Consultation
- Conduct site visits to assess the feasibility of solar installations and gather necessary data.
- Provide detailed consultations to clients, explaining the benefits of solar energy, system options, and available incentives.
- Sales Presentations
- Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations to prospective clients.
- Utilize visual aids and technical data to support the value proposition of solar energy solutions.
- Quoting and Proposals
- Create accurate and competitive quotes and proposals based on client needs and site assessments.
- Present and explain proposals to clients, addressing any questions or concerns.
- Negotiation and Closing Sales
- Negotiate terms and conditions with clients to close sales effectively.
- Ensure contracts are signed and processed accurately and promptly.
- Relationship Management
- Build strong client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and generate repeat business.
- Provide after-sales support to address any issues or concerns and ensure the successful installation of solar systems.
- Market and Industry Knowledge
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and new technologies in the solar energy sector.
- Share insights and updates with the sales team and management.
- Reporting and Documentation
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales progress.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance and market feedback for management.
- Collaboration
- Work closely with the installation and technical teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop effective sales materials and strategies.
- Continuous Improvement
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance sales skills and industry knowledge.
- Provide feedback to improve products, services, and sales processes.
