About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Solar Sales Engineer to join our team at Snaphunt. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities in the solar energy sector.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead Generation and Prospecting
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential customers by conducting thorough market research and identifying new sales opportunities.
  • Use your excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  1. Client Consultation
  • Conduct site visits to assess the feasibility of solar installations and gather necessary data.
  • Provide detailed consultations to clients, explaining the benefits of solar energy, system options, and the financial incentives available.
  1. Sales Presentations
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations to prospective clients, using visual aids and technical data to support the value proposition of solar energy solutions.
  1. Quoting and Proposals
  • Create accurate and competitive quotes and proposals based on client needs and site assessments.
  1. Negotiation and Closing Sales
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with clients to close sales effectively.
  1. Relationship Management
  • Build strong client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and generate repeat business.
  1. Market and Industry Knowledge
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and new technologies in the solar energy sector.
  1. Reporting and Documentation
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales progress.

About You

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and closing abilities.
  • Ability to understand technical aspects of solar energy systems.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Licenses/Certifications: Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to client locations.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: Proven experience in sales, preferably in the solar or renewable energy industry.
