Solar Energy Sales Professional

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Solar Sales Engineer to join our team at Snaphunt. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities in the solar energy sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation and Prospecting
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential customers by conducting thorough market research and identifying new sales opportunities.
- Use your excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Client Consultation
- Conduct site visits to assess the feasibility of solar installations and gather necessary data.
- Provide detailed consultations to clients, explaining the benefits of solar energy, system options, and the financial incentives available.
- Sales Presentations
- Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations to prospective clients, using visual aids and technical data to support the value proposition of solar energy solutions.
- Quoting and Proposals
- Create accurate and competitive quotes and proposals based on client needs and site assessments.
- Negotiation and Closing Sales
- Negotiate terms and conditions with clients to close sales effectively.
- Relationship Management
- Build strong client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and generate repeat business.
- Market and Industry Knowledge
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and new technologies in the solar energy sector.
- Reporting and Documentation
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales progress.
About You
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and closing abilities.
- Ability to understand technical aspects of solar energy systems.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
- Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.
- Licenses/Certifications: Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to client locations.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Proven experience in sales, preferably in the solar or renewable energy industry.
