Job Overview

A highly motivated and results-driven Solar Field Sales Executive is sought to drive sales growth, promote solar energy solutions, and deliver exceptional customer experiences. This role requires a deep understanding of the solar industry, outstanding communication skills, and the ability to work independently in the field to achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead Generation and Prospecting
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through targeted field visits, cold calling, networking, and referrals.
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of potential customers by conducting thorough market research and analysis.
Client Consultation
  • Conduct site assessments to evaluate the feasibility of solar installations and gather essential data.
  • Provide detailed consultations to clients, explaining the benefits of solar energy, system options, and available financial incentives.
Sales Presentations
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to prospective clients, highlighting the value proposition of solar energy solutions.
  • Utilize visual aids and technical data to effectively communicate the benefits of solar energy systems.
Quoting and Proposals
  • Create accurate and competitive quotes and proposals based on client needs and site assessments.
  • Present and explain proposals to clients, addressing any questions or concerns.
Negotiation and Closing Sales
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with clients to close sales effectively.
  • Ensure contracts are signed and processed accurately and promptly.
Relationship Management
  • Foster strong client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and generate repeat business.
  • Provide after-sales support to address any issues or concerns and ensure the successful installation of solar systems.
Market and Industry Knowledge
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and new technologies in the solar energy sector.
  • Share insights and updates with the sales team and management.
Reporting and Documentation
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales progress.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance and market feedback for management.
Collaboration
  • Work closely with the installation and technical teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop effective sales materials and strategies.
Continuous Improvement
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance sales skills and industry knowledge.
  • Provide feedback to improve products, services, and sales processes.

Qualifications:

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: Proven experience in sales, preferably in the solar or renewable energy industry.

We offer an attractive compensation package, estimated to be in the range of $70,000 to $100,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
