Purpose

This role oversees daily operations ensuring smooth technical function, regulatory compliance, preventive maintenance, energy efficiency and team performance. It contributes to guest satisfaction and operational excellence through strategic planning, training and disciplined execution of processes.

  • External: Members/Guests, Vendors, Consultants, Service providers, Authorities
  • Internal: Managers, Supervisors, Staff, Contractual Staff
ResponsibilitiesDriving Operational Excellence
  • Lead day-to-day operations for smooth functioning and guest comfort.
  • Implement preventive and routine maintenance schedules for electro-mechanical and civil infrastructure.
  • Monitor utility consumption ensure energy efficiency and maintain cost discipline.
  • Ensure timely renewal of statutory licenses upkeep of machine rooms and adherence to SOPs.
Applied Learning
  • Conduct technical and safety training including DuPont-based practices.
  • Coordinate documentation and retention of records as per audit and operational standards.
  • Investigate incidents and implement preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
  • Promote eco-friendly practices and awareness among team members.
People Management
  • Supervise teams assign responsibilities and track daily performance.
  • Support HR in hiring onboarding and skill-building initiatives for roles.
  • Motivate and engage staff through recognition programs and team briefings.
  • Maintain a culture of accountability safety and professionalism within the department.
Business Acumen
  • Track expenses highlight deviations and ensure budget adherence.
  • Recommend cost-effective procurement of services parts and equipment.
  • Review and submit monthly reports utility analysis and variation reports to seniors.
  • Evaluate and support capital expenditure proposals related to upgrades.
Leadership Presence
  • Represent the department in management meetings and collaborate with other departments.
  • Handle guest/resident complaints with professionalism and promptness.
  • Ensure participation in audits reward programs and company-wide initiatives.
  • Uphold brand image through consistent service quality and stakeholder communication.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • 8-10 years of relevant experience in hospitality or real estate operations
