Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our contract and commercial management functions. The ideal candidate must come from a product manufacturing or OEM background and possess a solid understanding of tender documentation, contract negotiation, and risk mitigation strategies.
 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Tender Document Review:  - Thoroughly vet and review tender documents for both domestic and international projects to ensure compliance with statutory requirements, technical clarity, and commercial viability.
  • Contract Management: - Draft, evaluate, negotiate, and execute commercial and legal contracts with customers, suppliers, and partners.
  • Cost & Commercial Optimization: - Collaborate with business heads to structure cost-effective commercial terms and identify opportunities for cost savings.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: - Ensure adherence to statutory laws, international trade regulations, and internal policies. - Identify contract risks and implement mitigation measures.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: - Maintain strong relationships with internal departments (sales, legal, operations), customers, and vendors for seamless contract execution.
  • Contract Repository & Process: - Maintain a centralized contract database and ensure process implementation aligned with global commercial standards and HOD guidance.
  • Team Leadership: - Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing commercial/contracts team.
 
Requirements:

- Strong understanding of tender documentation and bid process management is mandatory. - Hands-on experience with Navision or SAP, advanced Excel, and PowerPoint. - Proven negotiation, team leadership, and interpersonal skills. - Experience in working with companies with a turnover of INR 300+ Crores, ideally in a manufacturing or OEM setup. - Process-driven with a keen eye for detail and contract risk assessment
