Treasury Professional Job Description

Our organization seeks a highly skilled Treasury Analyst to join our team in managing daily cash flow and optimizing fund utilization across various projects. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical skills, strong communication abilities, and the capacity to work effectively under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cash Flow Management: Manage daily cash flow across multiple project Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) and optimize fund utilization for maximum returns.
  • Capital Expenditure LCs and Credit Arrangements: Facilitate issuance of Capex LCs and manage Buyer's Credit/Supplier's Credit arrangements with vendors.
  • Fund Investments: Manage surplus funds by investing in short-term debt mutual funds and fixed deposits.
  • Loan Repayments: Ensure timely interest and principal repayments for project loans.
  • Advance and BG Management: Maintain accurate records of advance payments and Performance BG received from vendors/BG issued to third parties.
  • Inter Corporate Deposit Issuance: Manage Inter Corporate Deposit issuance, limit monitoring, and documentation.
  • Treasury Accounting: Perform treasury accounting entries on a daily basis.
  • Forex Hedging: Manage forex hedging activities and related bank documentation.
  • KYC Compliance: Lead KYC compliance for all bank accounts and drive digital initiatives.
  • Banking Relationships: Liaise with banks on operational matters and maintain strong working relationships.
  • Treasury MIS: Prepare monthly Treasury MIS, including reports on loans, interest payments, short-term investments, and hedging exposures.
  • Project Financing: Support new project financing activities and loan documentation.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams (Accounts, Projects, Procurement) for efficient treasury operations.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate should possess a strong educational background in finance or a related field and have relevant professional experience in treasury management.

Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and software applications such as Excel is essential. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are also required for effective collaboration with stakeholders.
