Global Cash Management Professional

The role of the Global Cash Management Professional is to support and assist in managing cash operations for a global business. Key responsibilities include cash flow management, banking relationships, forex risk mitigation, internal process improvements, and system development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in cash management, including hedging and forecasting.
  • Manage banking relationships, liaising with financial institutions.
  • Support in setting up / updating internal policies, controls, and procedures.
  • Prepare and monitor company's cash forecasts and cash flows.
  • Responsible for all audits, including statutory and special audits.
  • Coordinate with wealth management teams to maximize returns on investments within guidelines.
  • Minimize currency risk by securing hedges and ensuring accurate reporting.
  • Support in risk management and insurance, covering risks including forex, fixed assets, cash, and inventory.
  • Evaluate, develop, and implement cash management systems to optimize efficiency and cost.
  • Drive digitization and implement innovative solutions across the O2C and P2P processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Treasury knowledge: Understanding and hands-on experience of treasury function including cashflow management, financial instruments, risk management, forex management, liquidity, and investment/wealth management.
  • Financial knowledge:
    • Strong understanding of banking setup and processes, financial markets, and treasury risks.
    • Sound understanding of accounting principles.
  • Stakeholder management:
    • Ability to work autonomously and be part of a team.
    • Strong client relationship management and customer service skills.
