About this role

The Drama Schools Foundation Mumbai is a non-profit organization dedicated to harnessing the transformative power of theatre in civic and cultural life.

We are seeking an experienced fundraising professional to drive our development engine forward. This includes researching and identifying new prospects, crafting proposals and reports, and leading the design and delivery of donor salons and stewardship events.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining an up-to-date database of donors, HNIs, CSR institutions
  • Researching and mapping new prospects; preparing concise briefs for leadership and Development Board meetings
  • Drafting proposals, reports, and presentations aligned with DSFM initiatives
  • Maintaining a grant calendar and submission tracker
  • Leading fundraising efforts and delivering donor salons and stewardship events

Growth pathway details:

Year 1:

  • ₹50,000–55,000/month fixed salary, full-time
  • 6-month probation with deliverables: clean donor list, grant calendar live, 3 proposals submitted, 20 new donors and approaches identified

Year 2 onwards:

  • Annual salary increments tied to DSFM's HR policy (typically 8–10%); Eligible for performance bonuses tied to departmental fundraising targets
