About the Mission:

India's future relies on young people reconnecting in meaningful ways. As cities grow, we spend more time indoors and online, losing touch with each other.

We're building a platform to bridge this gap: where young Indians can read books together, discuss politics, brainstorm startups, volunteer, run, play games, or find genuine community in any way they choose.

The format will evolve over time, but our mission is clear: help young Indians reconnect with each other – meaningfully and offline.

Your Role:

As Co-Founder of Finance & Operations, you'll lead the financial strategy, fundraising, and operational scale-up of our platform. You'll ensure we have the resources, systems, and processes to grow sustainably from Day 1.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage financial models (unit economics, CAC/LTV, marketplace liquidity).
  • Lead fundraising efforts: prepare investor materials, create pitch decks, manage financial modelling and investor relations.
  • Establish robust financial systems: accounting, compliance, reporting, unit economics, CAC/LTV analysis.
  • Oversee compliance, accounting, and corporate governance.
  • Design and execute a marketplace operations playbook
  • Design operational processes for venue partnerships, equipment rentals, and event logistics.
  • Balance marketplace liquidity: ensuring enough hosts & events to meet attendee demand.
  • Build trust & safety operations: dispute resolution, refunds, and community guidelines.
  • Oversee legal & compliance frameworks: contracts, NDAs, corporate structure, MCA compliance.
  • Forge partnerships with venues, service providers, and student organizations.
  • Develop KPI dashboards: event volume, ticket sales, host retention, repeat attendance.
  • Hire and manage community managers and operational staff as we grow.

Requirements:

  • A strong background in finance, consulting, or startup operations.
  • Prior experience in marketplaces or consumer platforms is highly desirable.
  • Ability to manage logistics, partnerships, and customer support.
  • A strategic thinker who can also roll up their sleeves in early execution.
