Business Development Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Development professional to join our team. As a key member of the organization, you will play a pivotal role in driving fundraising initiatives and securing partnerships that align with our mission.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong track record of success in business development, with a proven ability to design and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies. They will be able to identify and pursue high-value funding opportunities, build and manage strong relationships with donors, and develop compelling proposals and pitches.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with internal teams to present accurate and compelling narratives backed by data and outcomes. You will also be responsible for leading stewardship efforts, ensuring donors feel connected to the mission and impact.

To succeed in this position, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, including the ability to tailor communications for different donor segments and formats. You will also need to demonstrate a strong understanding of the Indian CSR landscape and donor dynamics in education and development.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy focused on CSR, institutional donors, philanthropic foundations, and high-net-worth individuals.
  • Pursue high-value funding opportunities aligned with Anandaya's mission.
  • Build and manage strong relationships with new and existing donors.
  • Represent Anandaya in external meetings, pitches, CSR events, and philanthropic forums.
  • Requirements:
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in fundraising or institutional business development in the nonprofit or CSR ecosystem.
  • Demonstrated success and a proven track record in raising and managing significant funding from CSR or philanthropic partners.
  • Strong understanding of the Indian CSR landscape and donor dynamics in education and development.
  • Exceptional proposal writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to build senior-level relationships, pitch persuasively, and follow through with diligence.
