Lead Global Fundraising

This is a leadership role where you will be responsible for leading the fundraising efforts of an organization that aims to promote global compassion. You will develop and implement a 3-year fundraising strategy with targets by segment and by program, and deliver predictable and diversified funding as well as lifetime donor value.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Strategy Development
  • Develop a comprehensive fundraising strategy that includes targets, budgets, and timelines.
  • Identify and cultivate high-value donors and partnerships to achieve organizational goals.
  • Design and implement multi-year giving vehicles to secure sustainable funding.
Donor Management
  • Manage and maintain relationships with existing donors, including quarterly updates, stewardship reports, and personalized communication.
  • Research, identify, and qualify new potential donors to expand the donor base.
Partnerships and External Relations
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including corporations, foundations, and high-influence networks.
  • Secure strategic partnerships to support the organization's mission and goals.
Team Leadership and Systems
  • Lead and manage a team of fundraising professionals to achieve organizational goals.
  • Implement and maintain CRM systems to track and analyze fundraising data.
Budgeting, Reporting, and Evaluation
  • Develop and manage annual budgets and financial plans to ensure organizational sustainability.
  • Provide regular reporting and evaluation to senior management and the board on fundraising progress and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 8 years of direct fundraising experience, with a proven track record of securing high-value donations and partnerships.
  • Strong understanding of donor management, digital marketing, brand positioning, and campaign/event orchestration.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with ability to communicate complex ideas simply and persuasively.
  • Regulatory compliance and governance sensibility, with ability to navigate complex regulatory environments.
