Proposal Development Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Proposal Development Expert to spearhead our proposal efforts.

  • The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in bid management, capture management, and responding to RFPs and other presales activities.
  • They will be responsible for anchoring responses to proactive (proposals) as well as reactive (RFP/RFI) bids as a single point of contact for timely submission.
  • Key responsibilities include proactively identifying and proposing improvements or innovations to services, product functionality, or processes.
  • Additionally, they will prepare customer- and vertical-specific sales collateral by working closely with the respective practice teams.
  • The selected candidate will also assist the sales team in developing and implementing account penetration strategies and account-specific sales plans.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in pre-sales & proposal writing in an IT services / staffing company.
  • Strong understanding of US Federal government and SLED contracting.
  • Experience in RFP/RFQ/RFI management and a thorough understanding of the end-to-end sales life cycle.
  • End-to-end handling of capture management, lead generation, and bid management.
  • Excellent presentation skills and proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to navigate and obtain required information from various stakeholders to design a compelling solution/proposal.
  • Strong understanding of federal procurement regulations, including FAR and DFARS.
  • Hands-on experience in proposal writing is mandatory.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
