Job Role

We are looking for an experienced Entry Level Proposal Writer who can produce professionally written proposal content that clearly articulates our value proposition.

The ideal candidate will have proven ability and skills in producing and editing proposal content and participating in review meetings/document production.

This role requires an ability to work under pressure and meet demanding deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead responses to Public Sector (US Government experience preferred) at the Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) and Task Order (TO) level, and other responses at the contract program level.
  • Lead storyboard sessions with Bid/Proposal team members and key stakeholders.
  • Analyze RFPs/RFIs/RFQs to prepare response outlines and compliance matrices.
  • Research, develop, plan, and write compliant technical material and compelling proposal content for use in proposal development activities.
  • Proactively interact with subject matter experts.
  • Assist the Bid/Proposal Manager in developing a proposal.
  • Identify and re-work existing pre-written content where relevant.
  • Deliver completed written proposal responses to the Proposal Manager against agreed RFP deadlines, escalating issues as required.
  • Provide ongoing proposal strategy and support.
  • Gain adherence to all steps of the pursuit proposal process and confirm high-quality proposal submissions.
  • Design or suggest graphics for written proposal material.
  • Develop high-quality proposals, qualification documents, presentations, and other meeting documents.
  • Maintain quality results by using templates, readability, consistency, and tone, maintaining proposal support database.
  • Coordinate with team members for successful delivery of proposals.
  • Store all new proposal content to drives for potential reuse.
Requirements
  • Knowledge and understanding of proposal writing.
  • Strong time management/prioritization skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate with a variety of audiences both via phone and email.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience of coordinating and updating a knowledge base system is beneficial.
