
Regional Business Development Director

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Business Development Director to lead our sales strategy and drive revenue growth in their designated region. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales leadership, with a strong focus on customer experience, team performance, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Leadership:
- - Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with corporate goals and objectives
- - Drive revenue growth through effective sales tactics, strategic planning, and market analysis
- - Foster a high-performance culture within the sales team, emphasizing collaboration, innovation, and results-driven mindset
- - Analyze business trends, identify opportunities, and develop targeted solutions to drive business growth
- - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies
People Leadership:
- - Partner with Store Managers and HR teams to ensure adequate staffing levels and talent development
- - Coach and develop future leaders, focusing on skill gaps, implementation of business plans, and financial analysis
- - Implement formal and informal performance management processes to drive store manager success
- - Establish a culture that celebrates diversity and fosters learning from diverse perspectives
- - Reduce attrition by retaining top talent
Organizational Leadership:
- - Oversee territory and store budgets to ensure profitability and optimize resources
- - Manage top and bottom-line performance effectively, driving growth and efficiency
- - Ensure operational effectiveness across shrinkage, capacity, productivity, growth, and attrition
- - Develop innovative and cost-effective methods to enhance productivity while maintaining high retail standards
Requirements:
- - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
- - Minimum 5 years of sales leadership experience, preferably in retail or consumer goods
- - Proven track record of success in sales strategy development, team leadership, and operational excellence
- - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to drive data-driven decision making
- - Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills
- - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
