Job Title: Executive Chef
About the Role:
- As a seasoned culinary expert, you will be responsible for bringing innovative applications of our product portfolio to life, supporting business growth and success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and contribute to the growth of key channels through your culinary expertise and knowledge.
- Translate insights into product ideas and applications related to country projects or briefs.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop and evaluate creative concepts, creating high-quality recipes that meet project requirements.
- Design and deliver training materials for new product and application training, ensuring smooth operations and business growth.
- Audit and promote best practices in culinary technology, influencing product development and quality.
- Assist in formulation optimization and fine-tuning for production scale, ensuring cost-effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
- Test developed products in application, conducting evaluation sessions with chef panels and internal customers.
- Establish standards and golden rules for new product development, applying formulation principles to influence quality, cost, and convenience.
- Execute tasks within relevance of raw materials, costs, process, requirement, and shelf life.
- Support presentations at roadshows, events, and activities requiring chef demonstrations.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth operations and support business growth plans.
- Implement other activities as directed by the Line Manager.
- Ensure compliance with Unilever's Code of Business Principles and Safety Standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Culinary expertise and creativity, Passion for growth
- Pro-active, Business orientated, Focused, and Problem solver
- Basic knowledge of R&D, Marketing, and sales preferable
- Good presentation, planning, and organizing skills
- Able to work in a multi-cultural environment
- Academic / Professional qualification
- Full member of the local Culinary Association
- Basic skills in computer with office software, especially Excel and recipe net
- Good command of spoken and written English
- 2-3 years of working experience in the kitchen
- Possess knowledge and experience in the food service industry
