Key Account Management Position

This role presents an exciting opportunity to lead a team of account managers and contribute to shaping a strategy for managing North American vendors. The successful candidate will have the ability to drive growth and improve the end customer experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of account managers, prioritizing strategic initiatives and providing escalation support as needed.
  • Performance Metrics: Success will be measured by the performance of internal teams on input metrics and the impact of vendors on creating a great customer experience for buying consumers.
  • Business Improvement: Identify actions or provide advice on how to improve business input metrics that drive growth and improve the end customer experience in collaboration with other Amazon programs and teams.
  • Goal Setting: Manage end-to-end goal setting for the team to align with organizational goals.
  • Selling Partner Relationships: Build relationships with selling partners across the portfolio, proactively building joint business plans and acting as a point of escalation for outstanding issues, questions, and concerns.
  • Thought Leadership: Act as a thought leader in defining success criteria and understanding business needs of selling partners in an ever-changing business environment, contributing to and leading strategic plans and documents for the organization.
  • Recruitment and Hiring: Lead recruiting and hiring efforts across the direct team and broader organization.
  • Selling Partner Needs: Manage selling partner needs and monitor complexity through efficient resource allocation of account managers.
  • Satisfaction Analysis: Monitor selling partner satisfaction survey results to analyze both positive and negative feedback trends, establish improvement plans, and manage expectations with account managers as appropriate.
