Industry Partnership Development Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team in a Technical Business Development role. This exciting opportunity involves conducting market research, product comparison and mapping, and establishing business connections with relevant companies in the defence and allied manufacturing sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct technical product profiling of existing company products and identify opportunities for growth and development.
  • Perform thorough market scanning and industry research to find suitable clients and market opportunities.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with procurement, engineering, and BD teams of target companies to explore contract manufacturing or supply partnerships.
  • Build a sales funnel for contract-based orders and regularly update the pipeline with accurate data.
  • Develop region-wise business acquisition plans with sales and outreach targets to drive business growth.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or related engineering field.
  • Postgraduate Diploma/MBA in Marketing, Sales, or Business Development (desired but not mandatory).

Preferred Experience:

  • 2–5 years of experience in technical sales, market research, or business development in manufacturing, preferably in defence/aerospace/industrial engineering sectors.

Required Skills:

  • Strong technical knowledge of industrial or defence-grade products and their applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas.
  • Confident and persuasive phone and in-person communication style with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM tools with analytical and market research skills.
  • Ability to independently manage outreach and lead generation initiatives.
  • Strong relationship-building abilities with stakeholders and partners.
