
Senior Partnership Finance Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to drive the growth and performance of complex partnership accounts in the financial institutions sector. As a Senior Partnership Account Manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining trust-based relationships with key partners, facilitating regular engagement and collaboration, and leading the implementation of partner-facing programs.
You will provide technical guidance and advisory support to partners on inclusive financial products and delivery models, particularly those targeting low-income households for water and sanitation access. Your primary goal will be to ensure timely and effective issue resolution, performance monitoring, and adaptive management of partnership activities.

Key Responsibilities- Account Management: Build and maintain trust-based relationships with key partners, facilitate regular engagement and collaboration, and lead the implementation of partner-facing programs.
- Business Development: Identify new opportunities within existing partnerships, build strategic relationships with key decision-makers and influencers, and contribute to the expansion of Water.org's reach.
- Technical Guidance: Provide technical guidance and advisory support to partners on inclusive financial products and delivery models, particularly those targeting low-income households for water and sanitation access.
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience in microfinance, inclusive finance, or rural banking.
- Minimum seven years of experience managing MFI partnerships and large loan portfolios.
- Demonstrated experience in strategic account management, business development, or credit product innovation in the development finance ecosystem.
- Familiarity with MFI operating models, NBFC-MFI regulatory norms, SHG-based finance, and low-income client engagement.
- Fluency in English and proficiency in Hindi or other regional language preferred.
