Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and adaptable Senior Event Coordinator to join our team at IDC Asia/Pacific.

Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate all aspects of event planning, including venue selection, vendor management, budgeting, scheduling, and logistics.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, clients, vendors, and sponsors, maintaining positive relationships and ensuring alignment with event objectives.
  • Develop and manage event budgets, tracking expenses, negotiating contracts, and identifying cost-saving opportunities while ensuring quality and compliance.
  • Create and maintain detailed event timelines, ensuring all tasks are completed on schedule and deadlines are met.
  • Identify potential risks and challenges associated with events, developing contingency plans and mitigating strategies to minimize disruptions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience (5-7 years) in event management, preferably in a corporate or agency setting, with a preference for Tech Events.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve objectives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
