Job Description:
Pricing Strategist Role
We are seeking an experienced Pricing Strategist to develop and implement pricing strategies that align with overall business goals and objectives. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in analyzing market trends, competitor pricing, and cost structures to make informed pricing decisions.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement pricing strategies that maximize profitability and support overall business objectives.
- Analyze market conditions, competitor pricing, and customer behavior to identify opportunities for pricing optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with sales, marketing, and product strategies.
- Prepare financials for new opportunities, including project P&L, cash flow, NPV, IRR, and payback period.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and economic factors that may impact pricing decisions.
- Conduct comprehensive pricing analysis using relevant data and market research.
- Utilize pricing models to simulate and evaluate the impact of different pricing scenarios.
- Monitor and analyze sales data to assess the effectiveness of pricing strategies.
- Conduct regular competitive analysis to understand pricing trends in the market.
- Evaluate competitor pricing strategies and recommend adjustments to maintain a competitive edge.
- Pricing of BPO deals and preparing commercial proposals for client submissions and RFP response.
- Identify market opportunities and threats to inform pricing decisions.
- Work closely with sales, marketing, finance, and product teams to ensure pricing strategies align with overall business objectives.
- Set and adjust prices based on market conditions, cost factors, and strategic objectives.
- Monitor and manage the implementation of pricing changes, ensuring accurate and timely execution.
- Develop and maintain pricing policies and guidelines.
- Support sales teams in pricing negotiations with customers and partners.
- Develop and maintain pricing structures for contracts, bids, and long-term agreements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in pricing management, preferably in a similar industry.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in using pricing models and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- Knowledge of market research and competitive analysis techniques.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
- Familiarity with pricing software and tools is advantageous.
