Job Description

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow CMDB Solutions Architect to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping, with a proven track record of designing and implementing comprehensive ServiceNow CMDB solutions.

This role involves defining CI class structures, data models, and relationships, configuring and optimizing ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping to enhance CI population and visibility, and troubleshooting discovery challenges and enhancing coverage and accuracy.

In addition, the successful candidate will integrate CMDB with external systems using APIs, MID Servers, and ETL tools, monitor CMDB health via dashboards, audits, and reports, and define and enforce CMDB governance processes and compliance.

This role requires close collaboration with Incident, Problem, Change, and Asset Management teams to ensure alignment with ITIL best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 5–10 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping.
  • Strong knowledge of infrastructure components (servers, networks, cloud, applications).
  • Expertise in JavaScript, Glide scripting, data modeling, and custom integrations.
  • Hands-on experience with MID Servers, REST/SOAP APIs, and data integration tools.
  • Solid understanding of ITIL v3/v4 framework, particularly Configuration Management.
  • Excellent communication, troubleshooting, and stakeholder interaction skills.
