Proposal Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Proposal Engineer to join our team at UL Group. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical and control systems, with experience in estimating DCS, PLC, RTU, SCADA, HMI, MCC, PCC, VFD, APFC, and other control panels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Document Preparation: Prepare and evaluate technical documents for project bidding processes, including technical offers, system architectures, BOMs, basic designs, calculations, and commercial offers.
  • Bid Initiation and Review Meetings: Organize and lead bid initiation and review meetings, ensuring that clarifications are raised in a timely manner to facilitate better clarity on bid submissions.
  • Customer Requirements Evaluation: Lead core teams to evaluate customer requirements and produce technical responses to RFQs from current and potential customers.
  • Site Visits and Client Meetings: Perform site visits to collect information and address utility/facility constraints, and conduct commercial and technical meetings with prospective clients.
  • Project Sales Meetings and Reporting: Take daily and weekly project sales meetings, monitor progress, and prepare weekly reports on the status of each project.
  • Project Management: Coordinate with customers, manage material, vendors, subcontractors, and company staff, as required.
