Placement Manager Job Description

As a Placement Manager, you will be responsible for on-boarding corporate partners for student placements and internships.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Developing and implementing strategies to on-board new corporate partners.
  2. Cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with existing corporate partners.
  3. Negotiating and finalizing partnership agreements to secure placement opportunities.
  4. Collaborating with academic departments to align placement opportunities with student skills and curriculum.
  5. Organizing and facilitating regular meetings and communication with corporate partners.
  6. Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of partnerships to ensure high-quality placements.
  7. Addressing and resolving any issues or concerns that arise during placements.
  8. Preparing and presenting reports on partnership status and outcomes to senior management.

You will have a strong background in finance, business analytics or data science, and ideally 8-10 years of relevant experience in placements, corporate relations or a related field.

The ideal candidate will have excellent networking and relationship-building skills, as well as proven ability to develop and implement successful placement strategies. Leadership and team management experience is also highly desirable.

This role requires the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while staying updated on industry trends to identify new opportunities for student placements and internships.
