Job Title:

We are seeking a seasoned IT professional to fill the role of Senior Technical Support Specialist in our dynamic organization.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will provide technical support for enterprise-level software applications, ensuring seamless operations and minimizing downtime.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate records of incidents, solutions, and changes in the production environment, utilizing industry-standard tools and processes.
  • Create and update support documentation, knowledge base articles, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to facilitate effective knowledge sharing and consistency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute application releases and updates, ensuring alignment with business objectives and minimal disruption to services.
  • Conduct thorough impact assessments for proposed changes to production systems, considering potential risks and benefits.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, complemented by substantial experience in supporting business applications.
  • At least 8 years of experience in providing technical support for enterprise-level software applications, with a proven track record of delivering results in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and ITIL processes, with expertise in ticketing systems such as Jira.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting Unix/Linux environments and experience with database technologies like SQL Server.
  • Knowledge of programming languages, including scripting languages like Shell and Python, with excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment, prioritizing tasks effectively and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
