Executive Housekeeper Role

We are seeking a seasoned Executive Housekeeper to oversee the daily operations of our hotel's housekeeping department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring high standards of comfort, hygiene, cleanliness, and hospitality throughout the hotel.

This is a dynamic role that requires strong leadership and management skills. You will direct and guide your team to maintain exceptional service quality, while also being involved in the hiring and training of new staff members.

Additionally, you will be responsible for managing costs, maintaining knowledge of training and sustainability, interior design, chemicals and cleaning equipment, horticulture and landscaping, written and verbal communication, property management and guest feedback systems, equipment knowledge and management, computer skills, and safety and hygiene practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and manage the housekeeping department to ensure exceptional service quality.
  • Involved in hiring and training of new staff members.
  • Manage costs and maintain knowledge of training and sustainability.
  • Responsible for interior design, chemicals and cleaning equipment, horticulture and landscaping.
  • Develop strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Manage property and guest feedback systems.
  • Maintain equipment knowledge and management.
  • Develop computer skills and implement safety and hygiene practices.
