Job Role:

Senior Technical Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technical Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our support team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our business applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide primary technical support for business applications, troubleshooting and resolving complex issues related to applications, databases, and integrations.
  • Collaborate with development teams to implement fixes and enhancements, ensuring timely updates to stakeholders on the status of ongoing incidents.
  • Maintain accurate records of incidents, solutions, and changes in the production environment.
  • Develop and maintain support documentation, knowledge base articles, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Evaluate adherence to change management processes and policies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in supporting business applications, preferably in AWS.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, providing technical support for enterprise-level software applications.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and ITIL processes.
  • Experience with ticketing systems such as Jira and proficiency in troubleshooting Unix/Linux environments.
  • Knowledge of database technologies like SQL Server and programming languages such as Shell and Python.
  • Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to nontechnical users.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Skills:

  • Familiarity with cloud-based services and infrastructure.
  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
  • Knowledge of security best practices and compliance regulations.
