Job Title: Senior Technical Support Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Straumann Group. As a key member of our support team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional technical customer support to our rapidly growing customer base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Takes ownership of technical issues and works with our Development Group to resolve more advanced issues when necessary
  • Works with internal customer resources to successfully triage support tickets
  • Provides responsive and exceptional support to new and existing internal customers
  • Resolves escalated customer complaints without the need for team lead intervention
  • Documents troubleshooting and problem resolution steps
  • Participates in providing training to customers as required
  • Gathers performance metrics
  • Follows safety rules and maintains personal safety and the safety of others

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • Experience with relational Database systems such as Oracle, MS SQL Server, and MySQL preferred
  • Ability to read and understand debug logs from tools such as Rabbit MQ, and Grafana
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Customer centric and a proactive mindset
  • An inquisitive and analytical mind & troubleshooting skill
  • A hunger to acquire technical knowledge
  • Strong collaborative skills coupled with the ability to question
  • Good understanding of the software development process
  • Good writing skills (for documenting the process)
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
