About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced sales professional to lead our agricultural product sales in the Andhra Pradesh region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agriculture sales, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of achieving targets and building customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve regional sales targets.
  • New Market Exploration: Identify and explore new market opportunities for agricultural products.

Team Management:

  • Sales Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to achieve individual and collective sales goals.
  • Training and Development: Conduct regular training sessions to improve team performance and product knowledge.

Market Development:

  • Customer Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with farmers, distributors, and dealers.
  • Product Promotions: Organize farmer meetings, demonstrations, and promotional activities to drive product awareness.

Revenue Growth:

  • Sales Performance Monitoring: Monitor sales performance and ensure revenue growth in the assigned region.
  • Market Analysis: Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adjust sales strategies.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Customer Service: Provide excellent service and support to customers, ensuring long-term partnerships.
  • Issue Resolution: Address customer queries and resolve issues promptly.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Regular Reporting: Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis to senior management.
  • Data Evaluation: Evaluate sales data and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in agricultural sales, preferably in fertilizers, seeds, or agrochemicals.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of the agriculture market and farmer needs in Andhra Pradesh.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead a team and achieve sales targets.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using CRM tools and MS Office applications.
  • Languages: Fluency in Telugu and English is required; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
  • Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel extensively within the region.
