DownDog India is a pioneering yoga club based in Gurgaon, dedicated to extending the reach of yoga among different social demographics. Our flagship club boasts an expansive 12,000 sqft space, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities that rival the best globally. We strive to create a strong positive social impact by bringing yoga to well-educated, successful, and time-deprived individuals who require stress relief and overall wellness.

We believe everyone has the right to remain healthy, happy, experience life's good things, be calm and positive, love themselves, do what they want, and be who they are. Our mission is to gradually teach all eight limbs of yoga, starting with Asana (yoga postures) training that incorporates physical aspects of Hatha Yoga teaching.

Role Overview

We seek humble yet committed souls who share their passion for yoga in the following ways:

  • Teaching different yoga styles across various age groups and market demographics
  • Personally assessing members to determine their proficiency level and designing yoga sequences tailored to their needs
  • Bringing a strong work ethic and internal drive to provide exceptional service to members
  • Fostering a sense of community through personalized interactions and building relationships with members
  • Communicating effectively in Hindi, English, and other languages such as Korean, Japanese, Russian, Spanish, Chinese
  • Making teaching engaging, fun, and ensuring members relax, sweat, and feel a sense of accomplishment after each session
Requirements

To excel in this role, you must possess:

  • Bachelor's degree in Yoga from a credible local or international university
  • Minimum 500 hours of yoga teacher training gained through a registered yoga school
  • Credible yoga teaching experience both within and outside India
  • Professional certification directly from renowned yoga teachers
  • Able to conduct teacher training globally
