The OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to support our growing team in Bangalore, India. This role will partner with leaders and employees across our Engineering and Product/R&D teams in India, as well as the broader global HR team. The successful candidate will translate overall company strategy into functional teams and implement programs to achieve business objectives.
This position is instrumental in creating a culture that enables talented teams to excel. The ideal candidate is passionate about people and committed to making a meaningful impact on our culture and success.
This role reports to the Senior Manager, HR in India.
Responsibilities- Counsel and advise management on organizational structure and talent needs to drive business success.
- Develop and execute HR initiatives, providing valuable insights, guidance, and coaching to managers on talent management, compensation & benefits, training and development, performance management, employee engagement and retention, and more.
- Build strong relationships with employees, identifying people needs and talent requirements to address them proactively.
- Collaborate with managers and employees to improve and maintain work relations.
- Manage and resolve employee relation issues effectively.
- Oversee the entire employee life cycle, from pre-boarding through onboarding and offboarding.
- Ensure compliance with local employment laws, processes, and policies.
- Provide HR administration support and serve as the primary point of contact for office operations.
- Ensure all compliance requirements are met.
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role in a global high-tech company, working with all levels of employees and leaders.
- Experience working with Engineering, R&D, and Product functions in a software business.
- Passion for people, excellent listening skills, and a positive attitude.
- A self-starter who knows what matters and is proactive.
- A great team player with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead with empathy and assertiveness.
- Ability to build strong relationships, collaborate effectively with stakeholders, and be a trusted advisor to managers and employees.
- Creative problem solver with ability to navigate changes and get things done.
- Strong business acumen, good understanding of the business environment and goals, with a proven track record of business-successful work relationships across HR and other business functions.
- Fluent English, written and verbal.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- Proficient with Microsoft tools and HR systems.
- Knowledge of OD models and best practices.
- Experience in recruitment.
