Senior Commercial Lead

Seeking a seasoned commercial leader to spearhead strategic growth and drive profitability through effective sales planning, procurement management, and risk mitigation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive commercial strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Oversee sales forecasting, budgeting, and pricing to optimize revenue and margin.
  • Lead procurement functions including sourcing, negotiation, and vendor development.
Commercial Strategy & Leadership:
  • Drive strategic partnerships and collaborations to enhance market presence and expand customer base.
  • Implement data-driven decision making processes to inform commercial decisions.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure commercial success.
Procurement & Vendor Management:
  • Establish robust procurement policies and procedures to ensure compliance and control costs.
  • Manage vendor relationships to secure optimal pricing and terms.
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks to maintain operational efficiency.
Contract & Risk Management:
  • Negotiate and manage large-scale contracts with customers, vendors, and partners.
  • Ensure adherence to commercial terms and conditions, and monitor contract compliance.
  • Implement risk management strategies to minimize exposure to legal and compliance issues.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
  • Track and analyze commercial KPIs, including revenue growth, cost-to-serve, and customer profitability.
  • Provide regular reports and insights to senior leadership and stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in commercial operations, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Industry experience in manufacturing, logistics, EPC, infrastructure, or FMCG preferred.
Skills:
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen.
  • Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Understanding of contract law and risk management.
  • Leadership and team management abilities.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office tools.
