Job Summary:

  • This role is responsible for assisting businesses and individuals in complying with data privacy regulations.
  • You will work closely with the Chief Data Protection Officer to meet key objectives and deliver high-quality results.

About the Team:

  • The Global Data Privacy team provides expertise on GDPR and local data privacy regulations.
  • We work closely with businesses and individuals to ensure compliance with these regulations.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Manage important tasks, such as administrative, reporting, and repetitive tasks across regions.
  2. Manage Data Subjects Access Requests (DSARs), including search, acknowledgment, investigation, analysis, redaction, validation, and letter preparation.
  3. Manage Data breaches, including investigation, follow-up, and update of data incidents reports.
  4. Update the Register of Processing Activities (ROPA) and Data Privacy Impact Assessments (DPIA) status tracker.
  5. Support the Chief Data Protection Officer by meeting to schedule, minutes, tracking actions, triage mailbox, and Excel file tracking.
  6. Watch process and follow up on any new regulations.
  7. Follow up on compliance actions plans.
  8. Actively participate in Global and local projects with the DP team per requirements.
  9. Pick up ad-hoc DP tasks as delegated by the DPOs from time to time.

Key Qualifications:

  • University Degree with minimum 50% aggregate with Law as one of the subjects.
  • Fluency in English, oral and drafting.
  • Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail.
  • Working Knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with senior stakeholders and interact with business lines.
