Job Title: Data Compliance Specialist

About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Compliance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring that our data protection and privacy program is designed and implemented effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement initiatives to safeguard data and ensure privacy throughout the organization.
  • Conduct in-depth privacy and security assessments to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Map and track the movement and storage of sensitive information to create a comprehensive understanding of the company's data landscape.
  • Support the team in fulfilling Data Subject Requests (DSRs) and ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.
  • Stay up-to-date on evolving cybersecurity and data privacy guidelines from regulatory bodies like the RBI and help align company practices with these requirements.
Requirements
  • Thorough understanding of various Data Privacy regulations and concepts.
  • Relevant certifications such as CIPP, CIPT, or CIPM.
  • Proven experience with GDPR implementation or other relevant regulations.
  • Experience in Privacy Assessments, Vendor Risk Assessments, and responding to client RFPs.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MCA, or equivalent.
