This senior leadership role involves strategic planning, relationship-building, and high-level execution to elevate our presence in the luxury design world.
Key Responsibilities:- Sales Strategy and Partnerships:
- Develop outbound sales strategies to engage key industry professionals, utilizing personalized outreach and curated engagement tactics.
- Establish relationships with top-tier architects, interior designers, galleries, and museums to secure placements and collaborations.
- Leverage industry connections to identify new business opportunities, cultivate existing partnerships, and expand our reach into international markets.
- Negotiate contracts, manage communications, and maintain relationships with key partners and stakeholders.
- Inbound Sales: Manage and respond to sales inquiries, nurturing relationships with potential clients, collectors, curators, and collaborators.
- Brand Development and Custodianship:
- Serve as the brand's external ambassador, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints and translating the brand strategy into actionable marketing initiatives.
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop visibility strategies, including participation in prestigious fairs, awards, and exhibitions that align with our brand narrative and growth vision.
- Promote Nolwa through targeted marketing efforts, positioning us in unexpected yet prestigious contexts to forge a unique path in the luxury market.
- Develop and guide compelling narratives across digital channels, focusing on product storytelling, process, and brand philosophy.
- Work closely with PR consultants and communications partners to ensure messaging consistency and elevate our presence in the design and art worlds.
We seek an experienced professional with 5-7 years of background in sales, partnerships, business development, or brand strategy – preferably within the design, art, fashion, or luxury sectors. Design/Art Gallery experience is highly valued.
The ideal candidate will possess global awareness of galleries, fairs, and institutions; established networks in the design/art world are a significant advantage.
This visionary leader must be a creative thinker with an eye for storytelling, strategy, and detail. As a confident communicator and brand representative, you will effectively articulate our brand message both online and offline.
