Director of Food and Nutrition Strategy

This position will lead the development and implementation of food and nutrition strategies to drive business growth and sustainability. You will be responsible for building and executing a strategy to meet annual targets, collaborating with senior executives to address research and insights needs.

As a Director, you will have ownership of the business, taking responsibility for its overall success. This includes driving sales enablement, targeting key market segments, and engaging clients through thought leadership.

The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of technology issues, innovation frontiers, and business dynamics in the food and nutrition sector. They must be able to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as organizational and cultural sensitivity.

This role offers opportunities for intellectual curiosity and analytical thinking, with a focus on driving continuous innovation in scope and service delivery across.

Responsibilities:
  • Take ownership of the business growth and sustainability.
  • Build and execute a strategy to meet annual topline and bottom-line targets.
  • Strategize and drive business development with or without sales/BD support.
  • Identify and execute initiatives that enhance client engagement and deliver satisfaction.
  • Lead team efforts to leverage marketing capabilities towards building a distinct brand and targeting relevant prospects.
  • Drive sales enablement and targeting through creation of pitch decks and identification of pain points.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Science/Engineering educational background preferred (M.S/PhD).
  • 15+ years of experience in consulting/custom research & advisory, with direct experience in building similar research projects.
  • Strong knowledge of research tools, methodologies, management frameworks, data visualization, and business writing/presentation.
