Job Title: Quality Assurance Manager

The Quality Assurance Manager plays a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of products from raw materials to finished goods. The position involves overseeing all quality assurance processes to meet regulatory standards, customer expectations, and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Quality Control Systems: Design, implement, and maintain quality control systems, policies, and procedures that align with industry standards and internal quality benchmarks.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure compliance with food safety regulations (e.g., FSSAI, FDA) and internal quality standards by conducting regular audits, inspections, and testing processes across production stages.
  • Supervise Quality Control Team: Supervise and mentor the quality control team to monitor and evaluate the production process, ensuring consistency and safety.

Process Monitoring:

  • Raw Material Inspection: Develop protocols for raw material inspection, in-process control, and finished product testing to ensure quality and safety.
  • Address Quality Deviations: Swiftly address quality deviations or non-conformities and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.

Compliance & Certification:

  • Maintain Certifications: Maintain certifications and compliance with industry standards (ISO, BRC) by documenting all quality control processes and procedures for internal and external audits.
  • Collaborate with Auditors: Collaborate with external auditors during inspections to ensure seamless audit processes.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Implement Initiatives: Implement continuous improvement initiatives for product quality and process efficiency by working with R&D, production, and procurement teams.
  • Quality Training: Lead quality training programs for staff to maintain high standards and awareness.

Team Leadership:

  • Manage Quality Control Team: Manage and mentor the quality control team, ensuring proper resource allocation and professional development.
  • Foster Quality Culture: Foster a culture of quality and safety throughout the organization.
