Job Title: Culinary Director

We are seeking an accomplished culinary leader to oversee all kitchen operations, menu design, and food quality. As a seasoned professional, you will ensure guest satisfaction, adherence to hygiene and safety standards, and maintain a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Kitchen Operations: Oversee day-to-day kitchen activities, from food preparation to final presentation.
  • Menu Planning: Create innovative menus based on seasonal availability and customer preferences.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and place orders for ingredients and equipment, controlling food costs.
  • Food Safety and Hygiene: Ensure compliance with food safety regulations; conduct regular kitchen audits.
  • Team Management: Supervise, train, and manage all kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Quality Control: Approve and inspect all dishes before service to assure top quality and consistency.
  • Operational Issues: Address operational or quality issues swiftly and efficiently.
  • Culinary Trends: Stay up-to-date with culinary trends, techniques, and best practices.
  • Sourcing Ingredients: Build relationships with local vendors to source quality ingredients.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or Hotel Management preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, creativity, and management skills. Familiarity with kitchen equipment, menu planning, food costing, and inventory systems.
