Job Title: Executive Pastry Chef
The Executive Pastry Chef will be responsible for the overall pastry operations in our kitchen. This includes overseeing daily operations, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring every dish meets the highest standards of quality and consistency.

Responsibilities:
- Ensures the smooth and efficient operation and control of the Pastry Shop and production daily.
- Responsible for the production, quality, and presentation of the pastry and dessert assortment.
- Assists in preparing production forecasts and recording leftovers.
- Assists in setting up the pastry display in the various buffets.
- Maintains a complete knowledge of United States Public Health rules and regulations and ensures they are followed daily.
- Cleans the Pastry Shop as per the schedule established by the Executive Pastry Chef.
- Ensures the pastry galley is ready for inspections.
- Requisitions and transports necessary items from main stores to the pastry shop when assigned.
- Ensures recipes and yields are in accordance with company standards.
- Assists in completing the daily pastry consumption recap.
- Attends meetings, training activities, courses, and other work-related activities as required.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- A minimum of three years' experience as a Pastry Cook in an upscale hotel, resort, cruise ship, or convention banqueting service (shipboard experience preferred).
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, requirements, and use of equipment.
- Completion of high school or basic education equivalency requirement.

- Shipboard employees will perform any other job-related duties assigned by their supervisor or management.
