Proposal Writing Opportunities

We are seeking an experienced Proposal Writer to develop compliant, compelling, and well-structured proposals for US federal opportunities.

This role requires familiarity with the federal procurement process and the ability to work collaboratively with capture teams, SMEs, and leadership to produce winning proposals.

  • Reviewing, interpreting, and responding to federal RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and task orders.
  • Writing and editing proposal content that is clear, persuasive, and compliant.
  • Collaborating with capture managers, business development, and technical experts to gather inputs.
  • Creating and maintaining compliance matrices and ensuring all submissions meet solicitation requirements.
  • Managing the proposal development lifecycle, including reviews, deadlines, and final submission.
  • Maintaining a library of past performance, resumes, and reusable proposal content.
  • Proofreading, formatting, and standardizing documents for consistency and compliance.

Requirements for this role include:

  • At least 3 years of experience writing proposals for US federal government contracts.
  • A strong understanding of the federal acquisition process (FAR/DFAR).
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and organizational skills.
  • The ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple proposals simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • US citizenship or work authorization required.

Preferred qualifications for this role include:

  • APMP certification or Shipley methodology training.
  • Experience supporting proposals across multiple industries (IT, staffing, healthcare, logistics, professional services, etc.).
  • Familiarity with proposal tools (Loopio, RFPIO, etc.).
